Mark Ruhala
Artistic/Executive Director
As a performer, Mr. Ruhala has worked on and off-Broadway, in Film, TV,
Ballet, Opera, Cabaret, and Videos, throughout the world. As a
director, producer, and choreographer, Mr. Ruhala has created
innovative stagings of over 40 original and classic works. He works for
the National Endowment for the Arts as a panelist adjudicating grants.
Mr. Ruhala founded the Broadway Training Center in New York, a
not-for-profit performing arts center, and served as the
Executive/Artistic Director for 13 years.

Celina Matos Ruhala
Co-Artistic Director
A performer, teacher and business woman. Her career has been in
partnership with Broadway veteran Mark Ruhala. Prior to co-founding the
Ruhala Performing Arts Center, she served as the Administrative
Director of Broadway Training Center (BTC) in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
At BTC, Celina served as an instructor of dance, musical theatre,
pre-school and ensemble classes. Celina performed in 15 productions at
the BTC including, A Chorus Line, Into The Woods, West Side Story, Songs For A New World, Fascination, Madeline, Counting the Children among others.

Jeff English
Musical Director
Mr. English has been the music director for over 60 shows in
Michigan and Indiana, working with middle school, high school and
college students and with community and professional theatre. Jeff is
the choir director at East Lansing High School and Delta Presbyterian
Church and plays the piano and composes music in his spare time.

Lisa Buch
Office Manager Lisa has been working in the office since
Fall of 2008. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology
at Michigan State University
in August 2008. Any initial questions about classes, tuition,
registration, setting up a meeting, etc. is handled through Lisa. She
is on the
career track at the Ruhala Performing Arts Center and is enrolled in
classes full time in hopes to eventually move to New York to pursue a
performing career. Lisa has performed in 11 productions at RPAC, including A New Brain, Z, The 25th Annual Ingham County Spelling Bee, The Savage Dilemma, Just So, The Ballad of Sweeney Todd, Come Back to the Five & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, And the World Goes 'Round, and a staged reading of an original play with music, Once Upon...A Psych Ward, written in collaboration in the summer 2011 Planet Broadway program.
